Left VZW. Paid off my iPhone SE. Lost my SIM card, and can’t reset my phone without it. What can I do?
As the title says, I recently left my phone carrier, and bought the device I had with them (an iPhone SE).
For reasons, I no longer have the SIM card that was in the phone.
I recently tried to reset the phone, and whether I’m in iTunes, or doing it over WiFi, I get blocked by a *”There is no SIM card installed in the iPhone you are attempting to activate.”* message.
I tried to go into Verizon to ask for a SIM card to bypass this step, but they basically laughed at me. No interest in helping me, let alone providing me a SIM card.
So how do I get past this step? How do I get a SIM card to get me to the iOS home screen? (Would like to use this as an iPod Touch, essentially.)
Thanks in advance!
