After 3 months of work I released a new arcade game, my goal was to make pixelart look as good as possible. Features a working day/night and weather system!
I just released a new platformer for iOS called “Infinite Islands” any feedback is greatly appreciated. This is my first attempt at working with lots of hand made pixel art scenes, let me know what you think and where they can be improved. This game is free to play and does not have any “freemium” microtransactions; there is an ingame store for new app icons / themes (only app icons for this version, more themes are in the works!). The items in the store are able to be unlocked with gems you collect by playing the game, not by spending money. This game has a dynamically updating day/night system, a weather system and other various things that fly across the screen. All of the art was done by myself in the late hours of the night fueled by lots of coffee.
If you have any questions on how I built this or need any tips/guides on getting started building your own games/apps let me know!
Upcoming features include full iPad support (not the terrible shrunken version the game currently has), more themes, more levels and various weather types (snow, ice, hurricanes, etc.)
