The most obvious function missing from the 1st gen Apple Watch
Yes, I still have a first-gen Apple Watch. It still works fine and looks great, so I haven’t seen a need to get a new one.
Ever since the first week that I owned it though, it has been missing one key function that I just assumed was an oversight and they would eventually push an update that would include it.
When you walk away from your iPhone, it has an indicator on the watch face to tell you that it has lost its connection, which is helpful. But what about those times you accidently left your phone behind somewhere. I’ve left the house, the gym, the office, and even restaurants before realizing that I’ve left my phone.
Yes, I am one of a select few with severe memory problems (thanks Multiple Sclerosis… I didn’t need those myelin sheaths anyway), but I would think that a little tap on the wrist when the watch loses a connection would be helpful to most who use a tethered Apple Watch.
Am I right? Thoughts? Suggestions?
