Warranty Coverage for replaced devices
So my iPad Pro 2018 (11inch, Wifi, 256GB) crapped out last Monday. Looks like an issue with all external connectivity (USB Port, smart connector and pencil not working). I had warranty left till Jan 2020.
I got a brand new replacement today. Funnily enough, it shows my warranty coverage till 15 Nov 2020 (1 year starting today).
That does not look right. The last time when I got my iPhone replaced, the new device pulled up the warranty status from my old iPhone.
Did I get lucky, or will the warranty not actually be honoured when the requirement arises?
