Anybody use bias fx or a similar app with iOS for guitar processing? Do this kind of apps support audio playback while simultaneously playing the guitar?

Pretty much the title. I currently use a line 6 helix for guitar processing, which I connect via usb to my Mac and play on top of songs and stuff I play on my Mac, and I can hear both the guitar and the audio I’m playing, which is great for practicing. I’m planning on getting an irig with an audio processing app so I can carry my effects around easier. Is what I do with my helix an Mac posible with an audio interface and an app ok iPad? So I would play a song on Apple Music while playing with my effects for example.
