More bang for 1000 bucks used mac for FCP mainly and some OBS?

What to buy? I am gearing up to start doing a lot more FCP editing including 4k and some heavy use of OBS. What is possible in terms of powering these demanding apps for $1000? I don’t care which form: laptop, imac, mini or pro. I have a cinema display. Second monitor would be nice but power is the priority.
Don’t know much about Metal-capable graphics cards. (OBS depends on OpenGL on MacOS) FCP is my 1st priority. OBS 2nd. I will tweak setting for OBS and buy a windows computer down the road better for OBS
Where to buy? I am in the bay area and can navigate a craigslist transaction. This looked promising today

I frequently buy good used gear on ebay, amazon and reverb.com. Are there better sources of used macs in this class?
Currently, if I open several of the wrong websites or a couple of apps, I am churning slow on my **Mac mini (Mid 2011), 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB, Yosemite**
I just got a couple of video jobs I want to show off FCP with and I need to use 4k source video. I want to put effects on my footage and I need more flashy effects. I do a lot of basic editing of videos (often more that 2 hours) with basic graphics and transitions. I have not gotten into the richer effects partly because they thrash my system and takes so long to render.
This month, I will be taking OBS onto the highway and open it up – and build some semi-professional programs with zoom, lots of graphics and effects as I get through an OBS Udemy course for professional dev.
