What exactly is the toggle option for Pages in Settings > [your name] > Pages for?
If you have the iCloud Drive turned on, the Pages files get stored on Drive and if it is off, they are stored locally. This is decided by the option set in Settings > Pages > Document Storage > iCloud/On My iPad. What exactly is the toggle option for Pages in Settings > [your name] > Pages for? (It’s right below the iCloud Drive toggle). [Here](https://i.stack.imgur.com/RaVeo.png) is a picture to point out what I’m referring to.
I’m somewhat guessing that it backs up the file to iCloud.com > Pages (or maybe Drive > Pages or both?). But I just don’t see the point since if you upload it to drive in the first place, there’s almost no reason for it to be there on another place (as in, twice in the same storage space, just at more than one location). Or is it that even if I save the file locally, it gets stored on iCloud if the key in question is turned on?
Also I tend to find the app file named “Pages” when I search iCloud Drive from my iPad. And below it is written “waiting to upload”. That’s when I turn on the iCloud in the tab ofc. But it just doesn’t show up unless you press it (or maybe I never waited long enough?)
