temporary matte screen protector?

I’ve had my 2019 ipad mini for a year now and i really like taking notes and drawing on it, but i hate drawing on the glass surface. it’s so much harder to draw smooth lines and things just look worse than they would on paper. i wanted to try some type of matte screen protector or tip on my apple pencil to help with this, but i don’t want to have it on all the time since i also use the ipad for watching videos and other things. has anyone figured out any temporary fixes for this where i can have a “matte” feel to the pencil or screen then take it off when i’m not drawing?
