How can I make writing in Goodnotes feel like the native Notes app?
Current med student, so my iPad pro has been a lifesaver for me. I typically use Goodnotes 5 to annotate my slides, which works great based on its organization methods. But does anyone else feel like Goodnotes distorts your handwriting oddly? I feel like I have to work extra hard to make my handwriting legible and feel like myself when using Goodnotes, even when using the magnifier. Even then, it feels so forced and I end up spending more time trying to focus on writing neatly than what I’m writing. None of the pens feel natural either, and I can’t find a consistent size that I’m happy writing in.
In contrast, writing on Apple’s native Notes app feels incredibly natural and feels just like paper. My handwriting looks the same as it does on paper, and although I know its such a small thing, it definitely helps set my focus straight while studying. If there was an app that combined Goodnotes interface and organization with Note’s response to the Apple pencil (2nd gen), I’d be so happy.
Any advice on how to make Goodnotes feel more natural and less laggy? For reference, I’m also using a matte screen protector. Thanks!
