Alternatives to PDF Expert for annotating and exporting PowerPoints & PDFs?
I’m sure this thread has rolled around a few times. I’ve checked out a few of the apps already suggested in several threads, but ultimately I still can’t make up my mind.
I primarily used PDF Expert for annotating and writing/drawing on PowerPoint presentations and highlighting pages in textbooks. Once I found out I had to pay a special subscription-based fee in order to export annotated stuff (supplements to notes), I hightailed it out of there.
Which alternatives do you guys suggest? I will be heavily using the Apple Pencil with it so I’d love it if it had good integration. I also loved the organization and ease-of-use in regards to export/import that PDF Expert gave me, are there any apps that offer similar stuff? For example, exporting to Notability within the app is a must. I’d try them all out myself but I don’t wanna waste too much time on trying them all out.
Edit: Not that it makes any difference, but I’m currently studying CompSci. Would primarily be using it for math textbooks. I also draw on the side so they’d also be useful for art books.
Edit2: GoodNotes got recommended a lot to me. I’m mostly using Notability and prefer it over GoodNotes for [the reasons listed here](https://www.reddit.com/r/ipad/comments/j4jlhx/alternatives_to_pdf_expert_for_annotating_and/g7y4z8g?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3). I would like to know how *exactly* you use GoodNotes for annotating textbooks, PowerPoints and note-taking? I checked out LiquidText briefly and liked how I could save text excerpts on the side of the document & write next to it as well, and was wondering if something similar could be achievable in GoodNotes.
